Hello everyone! This is email #4 of a special e-mail (and video, if you prefer this on Facebook or LinkedIn. Coming soon!) series, called 12 Tips for Christmas, Marketing Edition.
These tips can be applied to your businesses, especially this Christmas Shopping Season. I go to TIP#5: GIVE FREEBIES OR SELL IN BUNDLES.
TIP #5: GIVE FREEBIES OR SELL IN BUNDLES.
The 11.11 sale of almost all (if not all) online shops was just yesterday. If you shopped or at least browsed the offers, there were bundle selling and freebies. A classic example of selling in bundles is the Christmas basket you see in grocery stores during holiday season. Multiple items in one SKU, one price.
This attracts a lot of shoppers because they can gift two or more people in one purchase, or they get more value out of their money.
TIP #6: USE RED COLOR FOR "SALE".
The big shopping malls use red for all their SALE ads. This is a simple application of psychology of marketing principles-- red implies passion, alertness, and urgency. Thus it's a great color to use for elements you want people to look at.
Tips #7 & 8 in the next email!
PS: If you think you need one-on-one marketing mentoring session to prepare you for the Christmas rush, let me know! I'll be accepting a few.
